How do I describe myself?

I graduated from TU/e in 1992 and only found out I didn’t have a neurotypical brain about 30 years later. Only then did I realise I wasn’t a weird kid, pretty smart, but with a low attention span.

In the years after that, it explained a lot, and I was glad I knew because I could help my 3 sons better. School never made it easy on me and that’s why I like to help students via Donatues. Meanwhile, I had a great career and built a large network. My neurodiverse brain was a blessing after all.

How do I describe myself?

My name is Edwin Winterkamp. I am 66 years old, and I really enjoy helping people and organizations with the challenges they face.
I do this not by telling them what to do, but by listening to what they are struggling with and then brainstorming together about the issue.

Through my work at ICT companies and engineering firms, as well as my volunteer work in care and welfare organizations, I have gained broad experience and have coached many students and professionals, always with a people-centered approach.

Key words that define me are relationship management, pragmatic, people first, innovative, overview, and brainstorming.

How do I describe myself?

I’m a mother of 3 boys, between 24 and 28 years old in the neurodiversity spectrum. My husband is also in the spectrum and this gives me a lot of experience.
I know how hard it can be growing up and I know it’s not always easy, not at school, not at home, not with your friends. But also I know how perfect they are in their own way. And what they can give the world.

Perhaps I can help students and perhaps I can help parents because I know it can be complex for parents too.
